Roles

Villager— You are an innocent member of the town. You have no special power. Use discussion and your instincts to find the Mafia and vote them out.

Mafia— You know who your teammates are. Each night, your team secretly chooses one player to eliminate. During the day, blend in and avoid suspicion.

Detective(optional) — Each night, you secretly investigate one player and learn whether they are Mafia or not. Use your information wisely — revealing yourself makes you a target.

Doctor(optional) — Each night, you secretly choose one player to protect. If the Mafia targets that player, they survive. You cannot protect the same person two nights in a row.

Sheriff(optional) — Once per game, during the day, you can shoot a suspect. If they are Mafia, they are eliminated. If they are innocent, you are eliminated instead.

Jester(optional) — You win alone if the town votes you out. Your goal is to act suspicious enough to get eliminated. If you are killed by the Mafia at night, you lose.

How a Round Works

🌙 Night — Everyone looks at their phone. The Mafia secretly votes on who to eliminate. The Detective investigates one player. The Doctor protects one player. Everyone else waits.

☀️ Day — The app announces what happened overnight. All players discuss, debate, and accuse. When ready, everyone votes on who to eliminate. Votes are visible in real time. Once the majority confirms, the player is eliminated and their role is revealed.

This cycle repeats until someone wins.

How to Win

🏆 Town wins when all Mafia members have been eliminated.

🔴 Mafia wins when their numbers equal or outnumber the remaining town — at that point, the town can no longer out-vote them.

🃏 Jester wins alone if they are voted out by the town during the day.

Tips for New Players

• Pay attention to who accuses who — and who stays quiet.

• The Mafia will try to blend in and redirect suspicion onto innocents.

• The Detective should share their findings carefully — too early and the Mafia will target them.

• The Doctor should try to predict who the Mafia will target and protect them.

• The Sheriff's shot is powerful but risky — be confident before using it.

• Trust your gut. The Mafia are watching you too.
